KHEL MAHAKUMBH

Look around you today—this ground is not just buzzing with excitement; it is charged with confidence. Because this is not merely a sports field. This is where discipline is trained, courage is tested, and sportsmen are born.

“All work and no play makes a child dull, but play with discipline makes a child confident, courageous, and complete.”

At Shashi Dhan Day School, sports is not an extra activity—it is an integral part of education. We constantly keep innovating and introducing new games, so that every child participates with energy, enthusiasm, and joy. Sports for us is not only about competition, but also about fun, fitness, and fearlessness.

I am honoured to share that from 2017 till date—8 years in a row—we have consistently secured a position among the top three schools at the district level in Khel Mahakumbh, competing with nearly 400 schools. Such consistency does not happen by chance—it is the result of early mornings, systematic training, regular practice, and unwavering determination.

Our students shine in football, badminton, chess, swimming, skating, kho-kho, athletics, and many more events. And yes, let us proudly say—through sports, our students earn more than ₹2 lakh every year as prize money, and our school receives ₹75,000 annually. This is not just achievement; this is proof that talent, when nurtured, delivers results.

We are proud of champions like Master Darsh Damor (Std. 9), who represented Dahod District at the National Level in Rugby (SGFI) from 1st December to 4th January 2024-25, and was also acknowledged by our Honourable MP Shri Jasvantsinghji Bhabhor—a true reminder that background never defines destiny.

Master Virat Sumariya represented Gujarat through the Federation of Rising Bharat Cricket League, participated in the State Cricket League (September 2025), and was selected for the National Level as Captain of Gujarat State Association (U-14 Boys). His journey shows us that talent blooms when guided by discipline and belief.

Ms. Dhruvi Shah (Std. 11) and Ms. Riddhi Gangwani (Std. 10) represented Dahod District at the State Level in Football (U-17 Girls) under SGFI in September 2025 at Patan.

Similarly, Ms. Aditi Soni, Ms. Vaidehi Parmar, Ms. Vanshika Mavi, Ms. Niyati Jethwani, and Ms. Nency Bumana participated at the State Level Football (U-17 Girls) in September 2025-26 at Mehsana and Vadnagar.

Master Mayurang Ad, Master Aarav Panchal, and Master Yug Soni (Std. 8) represented Dahod at the SGFI State Level (November 2025) and Khel Mahakumbh State Level Football on 12th December 2025 at Mehsana and Godhra respectively. They are not just winners—they are inspirations.

I sincerely thank our teachers and coaches for turning effort into excellence.

Dear parents—thank you for trusting us and supporting your children’s passion.

The child who learns to run confidently on this ground today

will run even stronger in the race of life tomorrow.

With immense pride and unstoppable energy—

Thank you, and God bless you all to perform your best today.
